We've recently bought a 2012 Superlow which runs really nice & smooth 'till it reaches about 60mph(in 5th gear)then gets a high frequency vibration, which is consistent up to 70mph,i don't know if it smooths out again,i don't go above the speed limit, does this seem normal ?,it seems excessive to me,but I've never had a sportster before,so looking for opinions or advice.
Thanks.
Have you tried running in 4th gear from 60 to 70 MPH?
5th gear at 60 mph is about 2800 rpms, 70 is about 3300.
In 4th you would be at ~3300 at 60 and ~3800 at 70.
EU bikes are geared a little different, they have a slightly different final drive ratio, your rpm will a little lower.
If the vibration is similar in 4th, it may be tire pressure, wheel balance or alignment related.
If it is not the same in 4th, you might check your engine mounts to make sure they are all torqued to spec.

Huh... We talking an 883 or 1200? My SuperLow is turning right at 4000 rpm @ 70 mph, and is the smoothest between 65 and 70 mph.

Thanks,i hadn't taken the revs up higher through the gears,it felt like I was revving it enough(no rev counter)so now that you've shown me the rev the revs i'm doing i'll do as you suggest & use 4th to check out the vibration at the same MPH & go from there i'll also check the engine mount torques(once I find what they should be),no manual yet .
Thanks again for the help.

I suggest that you change the plugs and check your HT leads . In my admittedly limited experience , excessive vibration in a Sportster can be symptomatic of one cylinder not quite running as well as the other one . Worked for me .

Thanks Midpegs,i have very recently bought the Bike & although it's only done 2K and a bit miles,it is 8 years old & I keep forgetting that,so I think i'll change the plugs & the oils & filters, while i'm at it I do have concerns about the tyres, they look like new,but again they are 8 years old,i'm going to get opinions on that while i'm at it.
Thanks for the replies & advice guys(apparently nowadays that covers us all,so a good word to use).
