Hi I’m a first time rider just bought by self a 2014 harley while another friend bought a 2015 I noticed that his front indicators work as DRLs while mine are only acting as blinkers just wanted to know is there a setting for that or is it due to the year change.
Maybe the previous owner didn't like the DRLs and modified the wiring . I once bought a GSX 1100 that was imported into the UK from the US and all I had to do to disable the running lights was disconnect the third wire once I'd figured out which one . Having said that , my 04 Roadster has conventional indicators in the British style and no extra wires . Perhaps there are different vehicle regs in different states .
Answers your question why you don't have running lights!
I'm sure myb imported GSX 1100 had single filament bulbs . The indicators were permanently on but when I indicated they went Off and On rather than On and Off and the other side just stayed on . Too confusing for British car drivers so I sorted them out .
