SOLD!
My 1984 YZ125 that is. (Still have the Harley of course!)

I had this bike for about 20 years- almost half of my lifetime. I was sitting on it before the person came to pick it up and was starting to have a hard time letting go. Funny how you can get so attached to inanimate things like this!I boughtit back in 1987for $700 and I just sold it for$550, so I DEFINITELY had my $150 worth of thrashing, jumping and racing fun on it. I just needed to get rid of it, simplify my life and make room in the garage! It hasn't been started in about 15 years bc of various things such as school, marriage, work, kids, etc, so I would say it was definitely being "abused"!
My wife gave me a good idea. She suggested that I take the money and start a "Harley" bank acct and keep adding to it until I have enough to sell my Sporty and upgrade.
I told her "ok, great idea.I'll add this $550 and then auto draft $300 into it every month!" She didn't really like that idea too much.

OFG: Lots of fond memories. From fun days at the track hanging out and racing with friends, to seeing who could catch the most air and even the memories of wiping out and hard landings.
I just hope I don't ever have to use thein-the-air "front brake and throttle" manuevers on my harley at anytime!
Did I mention LOTS of hot lawn mowing memories as well?! I was 15 years old when I forked out $700 cash for this bike, which was all from mowing many, many lawns.
MR H: Great idea! I just may take her to the stealership this weekend, just so she can see the bling.
