Default heated grips
Hi installed heated grips on 2019 harley 48 the grips heat up but bike wont start just get a clicking noise checked main fuse and its ok so disconnected the grips and tried to start bike just the same clicking anyone any idea what could be thanks

How did you install the grips? Where have you picked up the power from? Did you inadvertently disturb something?

Although a clicking sound is a sign of a weak battery you have done some work. I assume before the install you had no trouble starting the bike?

Did you do an extended test that might of flattened the battery?

You chafed a wire in the bars and it's shorted to ground.
The clicking is the circuit breaker tripping and resetting.

The 2019 harley 48 doesn't have circuit breakers. It also has less fuses and relies on the electronics in the BCM to do the protection. Similarly it doesn't have a starter relay or system relay - all in the BCM.

First thing first, check battery voltage and the connections to the battery are super tight.

Second, if possible disconnect you heated grip wiring and see if it solved it
