I'm interested to hear this , I think my 04 ones are due a change . Do you mean the plastic umbrella modules that I believe come in green and brown to indicate front and rear ?

yes. they do wear out and/or have "improved" versions
(superceeded HD part numbers)

I use RonniesHD microfiche to get the part numbers.
