I bought the fuel tool to replace the lower o ring on my fuel check valve on my 2007 noghtster. The kit didn't come with the o ring so I went to auto store and got a 113 and 112 and 111. Will Amy of these work?
costs about the same as buying two new valves complete. If you can't find several mates who need the o-rings changing it might be more cost effective to just get the complete valve.
The rubber that the O -ring is made from must be made of Viton or hypolon . These are usually marked with some kind of color dot , and most of time theyre brown .
You could do more Searching on this form for petcock o-ring , fuel connection o ring , or a quick quick disconnect o-ring .

Well, I now have these Viton 013 o rings. They say they are 75 durometer black. Anyone know if this is the right one? This is all very confusing to me. They look to be the same when I hold them in my hand.
I got it working!!! I'm not at all mechanically inclined and I feel really satisfied with having done this. I got the old o ring out with the fuel tool and put in the new o ring and just did a 20 mile ride.
I recommend the fuel tool for sure. It was easy snd the video online explained perfectly what needed to be done.
