Kickstand 2014 custom 1200 sportster issue

Kickstand 2014 custom 1200 sportster issue
I have a 2014 1200 custom sportster and seems as though the kickstand is very wobbly or loose when riding is there any way to adjust or tighten it? Anyone else have any issues?

The stand is held in place with a clevis pin that rides in bushes top and bottom. Are they in good shape or worn out?
Is the spring all rusty and knackered?
I would take the stand off and check for worn parts. Hopefully the parts are weaker than the frame and it is not the slots in the frame that are worn.

Get a 4" spring at Home Depot. The HD springs are a POS. This one will pull the stand up against the bumper:
