Hi all,
I have an ‘06 XL1200 low and trying to add the custom dynamics magic strobe. I’ve upgraded all lights to LED, have the CD smart signal stabilizer installed and what I believe is a R-T-B module (small black box, there when purchased the bike used, connected front harness to rear harness) and everything is fine. (I added the smart signal stabilizer to resolve the hyper flash and did the “reset” as suggested by CD). The issue is when I install the magic strobe. Placing it behind the R-T-B module I get the brake light performing when I use the left turn signal and the left turn signal lights up when I use the brake. Placing before the module and the left turn signal quits working. I want the brake to strobe, but NOT the rear turn signals. Brake light is a CD Genesis 2, turns are all LED plug n play “disk” added to stock bullets.
I needed some help with a couple of things when I installed their Magic Strobe. They responded to my email nearly immediately, and in their emailed instructions I found that they had also covered these things in their on-line FAQs at their website, but them walking me through it was very helpful.
