I came back and when I tried to start her up the overflow tube from my mikuni hsr42 leaked fuel, it tried to fire but would not keep running. then it would not turn over without spraying directly into carb.
I've replaced fuel filter, siphoned old gas and added new 93 octane with octane boost, I've disconnected fuel line from tank to carb and cleaned and let dry, I disconnected HSR42 and cleaned jets and checked seals, I put it back together, replaced dry rot tube on over flow, replaced manifold gasket for carb, replaced with new spark plugs and restarted the engine. It ran fine with some sputtering while I adjusted idle and rough tuning but it ran and started perfect for a couple of hours. I changed oil and filter and was about to go for a short ride and refill fuel and it died as I pulled out the drive way. From here it would only fire when spraying straight into carb.
I've spotted what I think is the VEOS under the tank and I've connected all the tubes to the spots they where previously connected.
I'm at my limit of knowledge for mech work with it. Are there any other easy solutions or is it going to the shop. Thanks.
