New guy back at it again. 2003 Sportster 1200, Anniversary edition, 12,900 miles. Looking to replace REALLY old tires.
After doing some research, I believe I've settled on Michelin Commander IIs. I have a local, well-regarded indy that will mount, balance and install tires I bring for a decent price. Dennis Kirk has the best price by $50+ for the set, but doesn't look like an exact match to the tires I have right now. As far as I know, my wheels are original.
The tires I have right now, per visual inspection:
Front: MH90-21 M/C 54H
Rear: MT90B16 M/C 74H
The tires Dennis Kirk says will fit my bike:
Front: Commander II 80/90HB-21 Blackwall Tire - 45948
Rear: Commander II 130/90HB-16 Blackwall Tire - 466650
