Default hardtail pogo frame

Hi guys:

A few years ago at Sturgis I saw three very custom Sportsters that had hardtail frames with pogo seats. I'd never seen that before or since. Does anyone have any idea if these frames are sold anywhere or if they're just completely one off custom built?

Thanks.

you can get hardtail frames for Sportsters , look at Drag Specialties among others .
or you can weld on a hard tail to your stock frame . probably some threads here about that . TC Bros is a popular brand .

Thanks for your answer. I'm aware of those, but they're not set up for pogo seats.

IDK whose frame that is, but I can tell you it is the best solution for comfort with a rigid frame bike. Worth looking around to find, good luck.

To me it kind of looks like they started with a Paughco sportster rigid frame with OEM neck, then customized it from there.
(holes in neck, pogo spring, etc)

Look at the picture at the bottom of page 4 in their PDF catalog

http://www.paughco.com/2008-catalog/...ter-frames.pdf

good luck,

T.

Thanks. I can see the similarity there. I'm still not sure of what my next project is going to be, but probably a hardtail sportster. A big consideration at this point is weld on hardtail vs whole frame. Much less DMV and insurance red tape with a weld on.
