Speedo Cluster Indicator Lights
Hey Everyone. I have recently purchased a 2005 883, as a project, that had been sitting outside under a tarp for about a year. So far I have made good progress as it now runs and is rideable. My problem is with the speedometer indicator lights.
Several of the rubber lamp holder/sockets have rotted away and now the lamps will not mount to the speedo bracket. I went to the dealership and these items are no longer available. I checked for aftermarket replacements and no luck there either.
I am fine with not having them so, I removed the lamp wiring for those indicators from the harness. Is this going to create any problems with the turn signals etc.? Does anyone know of a source for those plugs or an aftermarket replacement for the whole setup?

This is probably expensive but working on the basis that only parts 10 years old are available from the MoCo...
The parts from a 2011 to support the light cluster and then make a wiring harness to incorporate the new with the old.

Removing the indicators completely will mean you lose the oil light. That might be important one day.
