HC, granted I didn't do ALL my homework. In ID witha clean driving record and good credit, Progressive was the best price, checked the lizard company and a couple of farm... somethingâs. I'm all ears if there is a less expensive company out there. I prostitute my LABOR for 70+ hours a week, sothe more cabbage I can keep in the bank account... the easier my life will be. Any general recommendations are welcome of course I realize you're probably not licensed in ID... but just general info.
Hummm naked chic, pool, male bikers = accidents. Did you say you work for an insurance company? Ride on sister!
Insurance ... opposite of gambling .. Insurance pay a small amount of $ to avoid a big lose. Gambling pay a small amount of $ to win big.
We have had State Farm independently and then post marriage -- 15-20 years each. That means our auto insurance can not be canceled due to accidents (only if we lose a license, perhaps DUI) - I think that they stopped writing those policies. They also have our house, personal property, etc.
I don't shop deals for insurance. I wanta company that I can trust to be there and not drop me at the first hint of trouble. Years ago some one turned by Honda Prelude into a Honda Accordion. His payment to Allstate was late so they decided not to cover the claim. In the end my insurance company sued him and won -- they may have gotten some $, I never collected any part of my deductible back. They are on avoid at all cost list.
Thus far I am happy with State Farm but only have a few minor claims.
I'm a Nationwide agent. Approximately 25 of my customers work for Progressive in Mayfield Heights.
My Sporty is insured with Nationwide and I have high liability limits. I have to. My tab for the year is $253 which includes a membership to the AMA.
No, agents do not get "special" rates.
I didn't know Nationwide covered bikes. When I got mine through Farmers/Foremost we were told only Farmers, Geico and Progressive. I'm going to check out Nationwide. Thanks for the info.
just bought my 06 1200 custom a month or so ago. and after calling my car agent among others.. progressive was able to give me full coverage for 1yr for 199.00!! thought that was quite reasonable as far as insurance!!
I'm in the same boat with Hawaii, I have USAA for car and Progressive for bike. I'm also in AZ and I did shop around with several companies and found the Progressive was the most reasonable. However, all rates are based on past accident history, age, location, etc.
