Hi folks, well it seems I'll soon be back where I started. My first Harley (about 25 years ago) was a 1983 Sportster 1000. Spent some time here in the Sportster sub-forum back in those days. Sold in 2007 and bought my Road King in 2008. Then added a 2014 Ultra Limited this summer. Now my wife wants her own bike. She found a 2011 883 Low that she likes, we made a handshake deal with the owner. Plan to pick it up next week. I'll probably ride it as much as she does, looking forward to it. I'll be in here asking questions and hopefully giving some helpful answers too.

Welcome back! With that last name, you're already good.

Did the same...started with a new '82 25th Anniversary Roadster (beautiful bike) went to an '83 FXRS, then a '99 Sportster Custom, to a '01 Road King that I customized to the nine's and had for 20 years, and now riding a '16 Forty Eight.

At 69, I'm right back where I belong...

Had me confused for a moment there trying to think what Rob was short for.

Same here. I’ve had many bikes before & after my 2 previous HDs but came back for the sound and the torque. I can honestly say this is the best bike I’ve ever owned. It has the size, weight, looks, power, comfort, simplicity, and reliability that I’ve been looking for.

Very nice! I ride both an '11 1200 Custom and a '13 King myself.

I'm sure you already know Custom Dynamics is close by you as they're always a good source for new lights. Pretty sure they do installs as well.
