PC-III vs. FuelPak
2007 883 Custom... looking to throw on an Arlen Ness Heavy Breather kit as well as the V&H ShortShots.
Was looking at the V&H Fuel Pak but have heard some bad things about them from my HD dealer/mechanic, about reliability issues.
He recommended the PC-III instead, where I could do 100% of the installation and a basic tune, and have him dyno tune it down the road.
Thoughts?

been discussed a million times... the fuelpak will be fine for what you are adding. its made specifically for the V&H short shots. it's what ive got, and a ton of other people on here. sure there are complaints, but the PCIII has complaints too. you cant please everyone.
my bike rides just fine with the fuelpak. if you only plan on adding pipes and an air cleaner, trust me, you'll be happy with it.
the PCIII is only good if you plan on modding the bike BEYOND pipes and air cleaner.

I have PC III on one bike and a Fuel Pak on the Sportster. The only difference I can tell ,is the amount I wrote the check for when buying the goods! Good luck in making your decision.
