Looking to change my fork sliders on my 2013 xl200v from silver to black. Having a hard time finding what fits. Would sliders from let’s say a 2010 Nightster fit? I see the axle is the same part number, but the caliper is not. Any help?

If the ones you have are the usual clear coat on alloy then it is very easy to prepare them for paint. Chrome is a bit harder but doable.
If you've never changed the fork oil or otherwise serviced the forks, I would
recommend removing the forks, disassembling the sliders and powdercoating
them gloss black. Get two of the 'fork rebuild' kits #49378-09 and some
good fork oil. You might be surprised what your current fork oil looks like...
