Quick question on iron 883
Just a quick question about my 2014 efi iron .
it has the rough craft guerilla style exhaust which keeps chewing up baffles so I have been running them without with the intention of fitting thunder torques to get my missing torque back .
What I am wondering is I am replacing my standard air filter with a k&n just so I can service the filter myself ,it will be in the standard air box ,will this be ok with the straight pipes alone or will I need a remap ?
What about if I install the thunder torques will I need a remap then or will it be ok kinda confused on this one but want my bike to run good

There is many threads on the tune supplied from the factory. Even without doing any hardware changes it is beneficial to get the mixture set slightly richer. With the changes you are making it would be beneficial to get the mapping changed.
The engine will also run cooler.
At some point no doubt we will all be at the mercy of the pollution police who will check emissions. Until then run it richer.
