Default Skid Plates
What are you all running for skid plates? I like the DK Customs plate but they are discontinuing it and no longer have it in black.

Are you dirt bike scrambling you bike?

I guess when a company stops supplying something it is because no-one is buying the item.

The thing I scrape is the jiffy stand spring mounting point when going over sleeping policemen.

I mounted this on mine. Repainted it with a Duplicolor metallic silver wheel paint.

I guess I'm the odd-ball - I retro fitted a skid plate from Triump...
It goes with the 'buckshot' theme of the bike.

My thoughts also! I mean, the roads around here are plenty rough, but a skid plate is not yet necessary! I suppose it does make a statement, or a conversation piece. If you ride a Pan American, well then hell yes!

In preference to a skid plate or stone guard I would quite like a longer front mudguard or extension for my Superlow.
