My wife, whom I'v called June Cleaver for years, today finished her MSF course and then tookher 04 sportster 1200 for a spin around the parking lot. She propmtly told me "not to call her June anymore........June Cleaver never rode a Harley!" Fine, I'll trade that for a riding buddy. Now i gotta get her over 30mph. cheers.
Man, that is awesome! I LOVE to about women enjoying the open road,I really like to hear about them riding their own! If she need any encouragement, she is more than welcome to contact me.
I don't think my wife will ever ride, not even 2up
There was a time when I felt that way. For seven years I hinted that she ought to learn to ride and get her own bike. I never pushed it, just hinted. this year she decided. I never really pushed it until this yearshe crawled ona duceat a dealership and we began talking about it. I put her on mine and we started out with the engine off and me pushing so she could learn to stop and put her feet down. 20 min later she was putzing around the parking lot. Today she took her own bike for a spin with a HUGE grin on her face. It was worth the wait.
