I would never attempt something like this. Much respect to you for saving this Sportster and bringing it new life. What an awesome thread…thanks for sharing with us.

emoved throttle body it was a nightmare as always as bolts were rusted and couldnt undo them

snapped 2 torx screws that holds the throttle body to the bracket :/













If anyone has some parts lying around that wants to get rid of that fits my bike let me know

Man there's something to be said for garage kept my 2005 is in alot better shape...OP good luck cleaning her up...

There is a lock pin. Use a 5/64" drill to drill out the pin. See if you can centre punch it first to ensure drill stays centred. Use 5/64" screw extractor or similar to gently tap the pin out.
