larger tank
Can someone help me with part numbers from Harley or an after market 4.5g fuel tank. I would like to upgrade my 2020 xl883n. I heard the custom has the tank that would work, but i am not 100% sure on that.

Find a 4.5 gal sportster tank you like that is set up for fuel injection. 2007 up. Pull your fuel pump assembly and install in new tank. Consult factory service manual for removal and replacement. Super easy—you need to learn to pull your tank anyway for when it comes time to replace your spark plug wires.

Hello, the H-D part number for a primed Sportster 4.5 gallon tank is 62213-07, the tank will fit on all XL883 and XL1200 models from 2007 to 2022, the mounting points are exactly the same on all models.
Please bear in mind that when installing the 4.5 gallon tank on an Iron 883, you might also have to change the seat as well as the tank. The 4.5 gallon tank is longer than the 3.3 gallon tank, so you might have to buy the seat from an XL883L, XL1299T or XL1200C.
You'll also have to shorten the upper vapour vent line hose as the tanks vent connector is further to the rear on a 4.5 gallon tank.
