I understand why people put them on their bikes, but I'll never have one on mine.

I don't begrudge someone for putting it on there ride. But I will never do it.I made this poll cause on my way home I was behind a lawn care truck on the highway.IT was killing me with dust and other crap.I just spead up and passed him.I still wouldn't have a shield. It is a small price to pay for the WIND IN MY FACE!!!!!!

I can't vote. I have a quick-disconnect windshield that I use starting around the end of November through March for all winter riding, but the poll provides nochoice for such "occasional use".

By the way, it is a God send in those winter temps...

No windshield for me, would only consider one for a ride over 500 miles and I've already went on a farther trip without one and was fine.

I got a quick detach on mine. I only take it off on weekends when the wife and I cruise around town. I takes a lot of fatigue out of my 72 mile round tripwork commute.
