Well Ladies and Gentlemen , looks like I'm shortly to be moving to another part of this esteemed forum . After four years ownership of my XL1200R , the need for a few more cc's has gotten the better of me . I've greatly enjoyed my time here and I appreciate all the sound technical advice that I have received from your good selves . I have also taken great pleasure in passing on some of the knowledge that I have gained about that remarkable motorcycle that is the Sportster . So , farewell everyone , my new ride awaits .💩 🍽️😁
It's a 2012 FXDC or Dyna Super Glide Custom , all 1,585 cc's of it ! I rode it a couple of years ago and I've been dropping subtle hints to the owner ever since .
Oh cool, good luck with the new ride. You were among several who had consistently positive things to say about the 1200R, which eventually led me to pick up my 05 earlier this year, been really enjoying it.
Hooray super glide. I've toyed with the idea of grabbing a super glide and throwing an s&s 110+ in it and dressing like old Lazarus but,.... I will not continue to tempt fate. A snarling Dyna would be nice... but, we know how me and Dynas roll... or tumble... ... ... nah.
I'll stick with the evil 883->1200 super R. happy you adding another to your stable
