Default Belt to Chain, Sprocket size

I have a 93 Sportster 1200 and am putting a hardtail on it and doing a chain conversion on top of that. I'm not sure about the size of the belt or the size of the sprocket on them right now, but I'm pretty sure everything's stock. I do know, however, I could definitely use a faster top speed and don't need so much low-end torque. Does anyone have a suggestion for front and rear sprocket size if I wanted a little more top speed out of it?
Thanks, JJ

Stock is 29 front / 61 rear
61 divided by 29 is a ratio of 2.1 to 1
Look at the available sprockets and do the math
You want a number LOWER than 2.1 for less rpm at higher speed

You want Faster top speed? Then you need more hp. You can gear a stock 93 1200 to the moon, but your top speed won’t be higher because you need the power to pull it.

Gearing for lower rpm’s at interstate speeds is a different situation.
