So if you rotate the throttle forward the throttle tube never hits a stopper?
Or it just has slack by the time it hits the stopper with the cable adjusted all the way out? If the later, you need a cable with less free play. Measure how much free play you have and subtract the slack and buy a cable with that much freeplay..
I can't recall if it finally hit a stop, it was almost 3 years ago I tried when I did my 1250 upgrade.
Yes, I did think about getting a new throttle cable with a shorter cable length to compensate for the additional forward rotation. Perhaps I will try this again. I'm due to change out my riser bushings at some point, so maybe I'll try it when I do that. Thanks for the advice!
