I ride to work when its not raining and I travel near a golf course on my way to work, lately its been dark in the morning and I am starting to see deer next to the road, near the golf course.
Due to the EXTERME drout, and excessive heat, they're actually moving kinda late in my area this year. But I did hafta kick bambie off of me last week while I was riding.
I wish all dear hunters a BOUNTYFUL hunting season. And if you can't find where they are.....just follow SportyPig. They're EASY to find, and seem to be attracted to my nice lookin scoot.
I had 2 run out in front of me this morning on the way to work. I am used to seeing them when I am in my truck, but it is kind of strange to be so close to them out in the open like that on my bike.I think that since our whole state is on fire, they are moving more toward town. Had a big mountain lion in town couple days ago... Though it isn't strange to get the ocasional moose in town either... Thinking that hunting season is going to be really good this year.
Up here in Northern Wisconsin, we have them year round. Have several in my yard everyday and night.
Needless to say with the heavy wooded Wisconsin northwoods and the deer all over, most bikers don't do much night riding up here.
Plus we only have 3 seasons, July, August, and Winter.
