was riding along and heard a couple decel pops(fairly loud) so then i heard a rattling noise and i pulled over and looked at the bike and noticed the bolts were gone from the flange on the front cylinder..so i rode to my friends house and we looked and couldnt find any replacement bolts in his collection..so i took one from the rear cylinder till tommorow when i can get to the hardware store...has anyone had this happen before?
I'd get it from the dealer. If the tread is a hair off or it stops too soon, you will be buying a new head. You also have tensil strenght and heat issues. Get the real deal and use loctite.

I didnt lose one of the studs, I lost both of the nuts that go onto them. They were like 5 cents a piece from the dealer, I have no idea how they came off.

Robert. Didn't you install your own aftermarket pegs?
I did and I checked them,I also asked the dealer if they were when they told me part of the 1K service was to make sure that everything was tight and nothing would be falling off
I actually ended up putting the passenger custom pegs on the front and the stockers back on the back,I actually like the smaller pegs up front compared to how fat the front 1's were, the whole peg didn't fall off,the outer casing did[:'(] Also remember my motor mount bolt fell off to[&:]
