I’m wanting to reduce the foot peg wingspan on my 2022 48. Is there a kit or parts out there that will bring the foot pegs in an inch or two? I see the replacement foot peg clevis kits, but those don’t seem to move the pegs in any. Thanks in advance.
These H-D anti-vibe style pegs will move your foot in a good inch, but also forward an inch if they fit the 48 clevis. I have some that I'll look for and if I find them I'll see if they'll fit. I like the idea of having my foot an inch closer to the shifter also.
Because of how the clevis is longer on the 48 forward side you would need to grind a little divot about 1/16" deep where I marked with the X, otherwise they will work. They are about $40 a pair more or less.
Thanks for the input. I’m wanting to move the whole foot peg assembly in, not just the end of the pegs. I’d like my feet to be closer in and am thinking there must be a way to shorten the clevis, mounting/shift brackets, or ?. Shorter pegs might be part of the solution, but not the wholes solution.

These are the best pegs HD ever made. No vibration plus they’re cushioned and comfortable.
But they probably won’t win any beauty contests will they? 😆

Interesting how tastes vary. They were the first thing I took off my bike, and swapped for the passenger pegs. They looked so ugly and out of scale in size compared to the rest of the bike, and I hated the feeling of my foot not connected to the peg. They've been in my parts box since 1990. I'd like to find something like the passenger pegs that are just a bit shorter someday, but not a big deal after 33 years.

If the OP is interested, I have an unused pair.

I've always liked the looks of them. As far as I know every FXR 1982 - 95 shipped with them stock and seems like not too many were in a hurry to change them out. For me personally they feel best wearing a light sneaker like a Converse, and what I mostly ride in anyway when it's not too cold.
I'll probably mount them to the 48 to see if they'll make the foot controls feel any more usable.
