Stalling and choking on startup
Some recent background I have been traveling a lot and not riding nearly as much as I would like. Last year I left it sit too long and had to have some work done due to this. Dealer got everything back up and running and all was good. Lesson learned.
So before summer this year, I added some fuel stabilizer because I would not be riding for several months. So when I went to ride a couple of weeks ago, the bike backfires when I give it gas during idol and I can hear the intake choking. And eventually stalls. This is all on startup. So, I dumped all the fuel and added new. The highest I have is 91 but I never use anything under 91. Also replaced the filter even though the old one still looked decent enough. A couple of videos are attached. One where I am not throttling at all and the other where I am. Ill likely take it in again but if anyone has any advice or has experienced this, Id love some insight. Thanks!

Two months doesn't hurt fuel in a closed system. Now a vented carb can dry up. And two much additive is like a two stroke oil/gas mixture.
It will clog a carburetor jet.
My 2013 service manual says it's FI. Since you've changed out the tank I assume by syphoning it all. Keep it running with a little fuel sprayer into the throttle body. Just a tad.
Be careful. Don't spray started fluid or throttle body cleaner . That will dissolve crud and spray will wash it in IAC motor, CPS, or temperature sensor opening.
It's safe to use spray only on a cloth to wipe throttle plate and were it shuts. That's half your idle. Other is IAC. And it's not adjustable.
That will clear lines from injector and hopefully plugs.
FI are very sensitive to everything being correct at dle since their so lean.

If I was trying to sort out that bike I'd drain all the gas. re-fill with fresh 91+ octane gas (with no additives.) I'd put fresh plugs gapped to .040 (I had good results with NGK Iridiums), clean the butterfly and air passageway, spray the IAC passages but not start the bike til it was dry. Make sure the plug wires are good and seated right on the plugs and coil.
Then try to start it up. If it still runs rough, add 3 oz of SeaFoam to the gas and suffer through some short rides. If it improves you'll have your answer. Continue treating the gas til it's fixed or the can is empty. After 4, 2 gallon tanks of gas and a little less than one 16 oz can of seafoam, I decided to help it a little with X14 VIEDs from DK customs, set at 30.5 K ohms. (I tried various settings and this worked fine.) They trick the ECM into richening up the mixture.
That's a gummed up fuel system with too much additives, my guess. Just an opinion, listen to the guys on here they are very good with Sportsters.
