Okay, I bought one for you, and will send by US Mail as soon as I receive it.

That's a very kind gesture, John.
The bracket is a very simple design, once the dimensions are known, it would be very easy to make one out of a sheet of 10 SWG (3mm thick) stainless steel.
He's reimbursing, so not that noble a gesture. Someone had to help him out on this.

It's good that you took the initiative to help him out on that one, John.
Are you sending the bracket as a letter post without the extra long screws? The screws will be easy to sourse in the UK as they are M4 thread on the top of the stock Keihin CV carb. If memory serves me right, the stock length is 14mm, with the bracket a couple of 16mm or 18mm long screws will be required.

Yes, I was going to send just the bracket, I expect the screws are easy to find in the UK. The flatter the envelope the better I would guess. I'll measure the screws when it arrives so I can let him know. Luckily the bracket is aluminum, not steel, so it should be very light.

So ya can't buy one. Nothing is preventing you from making one. Don't have the dimensions, measure it. Make a thin cardboard template of the bracket, using the top of the CV-40. Get a small piece of steel and cut it to fit. Necessity IS the Mother of Invention.
