Ya might find one on ebay, but I doubt it. They have been out of production for a good 50 years.

I don't ever recall seeing a ribbed or flattrack cover for an e-start Ironhead. A google search isn't showing anything.

French company Esteves Motorcycles Design (EMD) manufacture "Ribster" primary drive covers for Ironhead Sportster models, EMD claim that they fit from 1977 - 1990 models. They aren't cheap at 699 Euros ($765.34) plus shipping.

I have EMD valve covers, cam cover & transmission cover on my Softail Slim.
In my opinion, the EMD sand castings are just 'ok' porosity-wise. Here's a pic....

good luck,

T.

The aftermarket has not provided alot of alternatives for the RevMax line yet. Harley has their 'dress up'
pieces in the 'Adversary' line and of course, they are proud of them $$$-wise....

I agree with you, John, the Revolution Max motors left hand side looks a mess. The Chinese manufacturer, Benda did a better job of the left side of the motor on their Nepoloeon Bobber 450.
