The 3 parts replace the first fibre plate. After you put these 3 parts in you then put a steel plate in.
The fibre plate you didn't put in you sandwich between 2 steel plates to replace the spring plate ...
Aha, so I remove the entire stack of friction/fibre and steel plates then I put these 3 in. Understood. After that I alternate steel, friction, steel, but when I reach the spring plate, I replace it with a steel/fibre/steel combo instead. Thank you.

I have these from my leftover 2007 1200L old clutch. Thanx again!
That's a very helpful pic thank you. The friction and the 2 steel plates are easy to figure out, but do you have the instructions where to use the other 2 metal rings?
You are welcome...the judder sping, spring seat, and narrow plate are installed as below, the picture is from Sportsterpedia
Thanks OC, Andy and 08, really appreciate the help.
Thinking I might gamble on the extra plate squeak and see what gives. On my 1275, we installed an Energy One clutch with the extra plate and it’s been terrific, no squeaks lever isn’t too hard and she bites.
Hoping to track down a primary gasket and hit this next week. Occasionally I’m getting bit of a second knock after shifts on the 883, thinking rivet plate but 8k seems a bit low for the plate to give. On my 1200 with 5k the plate was in good shape when we removed it, thinking the best bet is to open up the primary and have a look.
Thanks again for the help gents. I’ll swing back to update after digging in.
There are a lot of explanations on how to convert the stock setup to the XR setup, but I made my own to fully understand in the simplest way possible. Here's the image I needed to see when I was trying to visualize it. Please let me know if it's incorrect and I'll update it.
Thanks OC, Andy and 08, really appreciate the help.

You might get by without a primary gasket, I bought one myself but had the primary open twice and reused the gasket as it was stuck to the engine side, no leaks.
FWIW same deal with my Evo big twin, have had the primary open twice, didn't change the gasket, no leaks.
How much do the parts for this XR judder spring conversion cost compared to the upgraded ALTO spring plate? It looks like the spring plate is about $75.
