A good friend is purchasing a Sportster 1200 Custom. She's a little concerned about dropping it, as we all have when we started. 06 Sportster 1200 Custom. I've found
engine guards and engine pegs, but nothing for the rear. I'm sure this has been beaten to death. Just looking for an easy way link. Please.
Thanks for that......I'll pass it along, she's not so concerned about the cost, she wants to protect the bike. Thanks again.
Thanks for your reply, the Burly Brand crash protectors look strong and well made, the will protect here Sportster from damage if she is unfortunate enough to drop it.
I like the look of them as they aren't as in your face as some other protection bars, the black colour blends in with the frame nicely.
I'm glad that I managed to point you in the right direction.
It's kinda funny how people call the Sporty a girl's bike. They are actually a good bit heavier than they appear to be and they carry a lot of that weight up high. They're a fairly top-heavy bike and not always the best thing to learn on.
I'm sure your friend will be fine though.

Well, I never called it that. But she's pretty tall and rugged, a Roller Derby girl if you will. lol. I too am sure she'll be ok. Thanks.
