After working my tail off for the last week and staring at all the unfinished business around the house, I decided to get away from the "to do" list and take a ride. Only my "ride" doesn't arrive for another month and a half. So...... went down town and rented a '02 XL1200C. Put a few quite a few miles on it. Had one of the best one day vacations I've ever had. Really looking forward to January when my Roadster arrives. Having riden the older non-rubber mounted one today, it will be that much better to enjoy the smooth ride of my own. I'm still feeling the flap-flap of my denim jacket at 60mph as I'm sitting here in my lazy boy. My first ride on a Harley was everything I thought it'd be. Thanks for listening..............

Welcome from North Florida. I have had my new 06 1200 Custom for almost a month. Breaks my heart to walk by it every morning on my way to work. Live for the weekends (or any time there is day light after I get home and I can ride.) I know you will enjoy your new Sporty. Ride safe.
