My recently purchased 2008 lo came with two keys but I was told that the second key had not been paired to the bike. True enough when I turn the key on the security lights flash and no start. Is this something that I can correct or does it need a dealer to pair?
Unless you have access to a digital tech device then the easiest solution is probably a visit to a dealer. Some independents might have a techno research device which I believe can do the fob programming.
Called the dealer today and they confirmed bike and fob need to get married at dealer. Imagine that ! I’ll turn that into a nice spring time ride next year.
Of course a dealer would say that and they will be right but as I mentioned you might be able to find an independent as well dependent on style of fob.
