I have an '06 1200L. I want to put a Mustang wide vintage solo seat on it. I have throw over bags, and I want to keep them. What's the best way to have both?
The Mustang rep told me it was iffy that I'd be able to keep my throw over bags after installing their Regal Duke on my 1200C but it worked fine. He suggested you might have to modify the bags where they overlap under the seat if it was too thick - just butt them together and lace somehow instead of allowing them to overlap. Good luck!
Thanks. I ordered the seat, tank bib and fender bib from Mustang. They had a Labor Day Sale that stops tomorrow. Now I need a Motherwell luggage rack to fit. Thanks again................pops
Funny you mentioned the Motherwell luggage rack. I just ordered one today in matte black color for the Street Bob. Can't wait to get it so I have somewhere to carry stuff again. I don't want to go with saddlebags this time, just a bag on the solo rack should do.
