Fuel Pump FI update
Called my dealer and told him I read about pumpfailure,that its not a matter of if but,when,and that mine was sputtering a little in the mornings,, he said let me look and see if we have parts for theupgrade,which they did. Made an appointment to repair this Friday.

Sure beats getting out somewhereaway from home with a dead pump! I assume you can pick it back up Friday or Saturday morning which means no weekends lost. Great news!

I heard mine honking/groaning like a dying canadian goose on a low tank yesterday...I heard it once before, not on a low tank but it was after I let it sit for a week. I figure its not long for the world.

They did the o'ring fixand the heat shield fix both in one hour.

Does this affect all '07s or just those made beforea certain date? Is there an official H-Drecall announcement or statement on this problem that can be quoted toa dealer, should they question it?
