Forward controls and Carb.
I have an 86 sportster, and am looking for some cheap forward controls. I have found a set for an 85, and was wondering if anybody knew if they would still work on the 86, since changes were made that year.
Also, having problems with the carb. When I first start to ride, it runs rough, then after it warms up, it was riding OK, but recently it is just rough all around, was thinking that possibly the carb is out of wack. Is there a carb cleaner that I can use, or should I just go ahead and try to rebuild it.

Can't help you on the forward controls, but I would rebuild the carb if I were you. It's not difficult and can make a world of difference.
