I see this quite a bit, and not on just lady's bikes. And not on RUB's bike either. Dunno how it got started. I though it was kinda cute, but was too cheap to go buy a stuffed toy.I strapped one of the squirrels that my cats keep dragging into the garage to the Sporty.
Man, did that thing start to smell after about a week!!!! [sm=smiley7.gif]
as more and more Ladies begin to ride..like everything else in life..things begin to get...more Girrlie. lol Seriously though..only ones I've seen with stuffed animals on thier bikes are those Sissys from BACA...dont know anyone else who'd even think of doing such a thing to thier Harley.
Those sissys as you call them from BACA are a good group. In case you don't know, that's a group that are rideing against CHILD ABUSE. Whenever we do a ride for kids, a stuffed animal gets strapped to the back of our bikes to give to some needy kid to help brighten up their day.
One day recently, while the wife and I and, one of our granchildren were sitting and eating an ice cream cone at a store, a couple of guys on bikes stopped to in to buy one as well. They got off there bikes and came over to my grandchild and gave her a little stuffed toy one of them got out of their saddle bags. You can't imagine how much that made her day. It was a nice gesture on their part. I say, doing that sort of thing is great PR for all bikers. It got my attentiion and appreciation.
My daughter bought me one of them stuffed biker toys to strap to my sissy bar. I think she was sympathetic that my old lady won't ride back there, like maybe she was intending to send a message. After reading this thread, I think I'll go ahead and put it on.
