I was wondering if at the time I put my bike into storage,( ice and snow on the ground) if anyone of you that have a bike jack store it on the jack to take the presure off the suspension.

Living where it doesn't snow, I don't have that problem, but jacking the bike up has more to do with getting the rubber up off the the floor than anything else. Concrete, brick, dirt, etc. floors will carrymoisture up to the rubber and leads to tire rot where the rubber is in contact with the floor. It also prevents the tire sidewall from getting pinched in the event a tire was to leak down during storage.

If the bike is stored where you can get at itto roll it back and forth periodically and check on the tire pressure, jacking shouldn't be necessary.

Last year I parked the bike on plywood, just to keep tires from being in direct contact with the cement. I also moved every 2 weeks to keep the tires from being in the same spot. I was just worried about getting flat spots on the tires I guess? This year I purchased a MC lift and will definetly store the bike on the lift. Just as cHarley mentioned just to keep the rubber off the ground. Last couple of nights here in Milwaukee temp has been down to about 40, just another reminder of what is coming.
