I am not sure if I am alone here from Canada, but I want to share some info.
As you know, prices for Harley bikes and parts 20-30% higher here for no reason except we have only one distributor - Deeley Canada and they can dictate the price to the dealerships.
Sowe called them and asked whywe have to pay more than south of the border and why they push us to go to ebay/etc/etc, but not to the local dealer.
The answer was - you will pay more, yes, but you should buy here to build a good relationship to your dealer.
I wonder - why _they_ do not want to build a good relationship to me, but just want my money for nothing.
totally pissed off.
thanks for listening, makes me feelbetter
got spare minute - please call them, may be it will push then to change smth.
Unfortunately, you've got a BIG stealer up there! Cruise on down to the States with a trailer and buy from a dealer down here and save the extra 20%-30%. Relationship, indeed!
PersonalyI'd tell that guy to pound sand. I've read about an indy in canada that has some deep discounts, do a search I belive I read about them on this forum. With the looney so strong these days that stealer is just trying to rip you off.
