The petcock can be removed from the tank with a 1" wrench... Just remember when you loosen the petcock from the tank.... Lefty-loosie you are also loosening the the nut off the threads of the petcock... Hence there is a right hand thread on the tank side of the nut and a left hand thread on the petcock side of the nut... Replacement can be a little tricky be with care and time you can do it... Just be careful not to cross-thread the plastic threads on the petcock..
