Yes, cHarley uses syn gear oil.. Sorry to the answer for ya man, didn't figure you'd mind. You can also use the Mobil-1 V twin 20w-50. I did for 20,000 miles. I recently switched to the gear oil cHarley speaks of. I don't know crap about all of that molecular structure of oil......my eyes just glaze over when people start talking about that stuff.
