does everyone rum the same oil in all three fill locations

no way. how boring would that be if everyone ran the same oil, and in all 3 holes. there would be no need for oil threads.

oh, wait... that might not be such a bad idea.

Nope. Gear oil in tranny and Formula+ in primary.

Yes, all of us, without exception, rum the same oil in all three fill locations. I checked with everyone and verified it.

Three holes.
Three different oils.


They make different oils for different reasons.


Not that much difference in the prices for oil.
Buy what it is designed for.


Some figure same oil for easy carry.
How many times do you have to add oil?

Red line shock proof in the trans. 16,000 miles last year looked like new coming out.

You'll find that if you start an oil thread, you're going to have to accept a bit of a beating.

I would say most people on this forum don't use the same oil in all three holes.

I use synthetic 20W50 motorcycle oil in the engine. Pick a quality brand you like and run with it.

I have been useing Spectro Platimun in the transmission but have now switched to Amsoil v twin transmission fluid because of availability.

I use Bel Ray primary fluid in the primary.
