OK, so that black headlight shell on my06 XL883 is screaming "I shoulda been chrome!" Is there a chrome headlight shell on the market or am I going to have to send it to a chrome shop? I wouldn't mind losing the visor thing and going with a bottom mount chrome light if I have to but I don't know if there's a way to mount it on my Sporty.

 

yea they are pretty reasonably priced to i think you can pick up a hd one for 35-40$ but don't hold me on that price that is what i think they were.

I have found in my searches that if there is a part you are seeking for any Harley..somebody, somewhere has the part you are looking for and it is CHROME ! I helped my buddy do a headlight swap on his Sporty and it is all chrome ! Changed the look of the bike.

 

There's currently one on eBay - item 4595809239 - that's not too expensive yet. 23 hours to go.

It has a dent, but should be fixable.

 

I swapped mine out and it does improve the look... a lot!

Be prepared, it's not as easy as 1 nay think. Either have a wiring diagram or make your own,

Just in case.
