It was kind of chilly here this morning, but i am from AZ so anything under 80 is polar for me. My 1200 low skips once or twice during warmup, just figured it had something to do with the setup of the motor, crank and what not. Ride safe. Mike
I have to ride out to a meeting early Sunday morning....
Just watched the local weather, and they are calling for possible rain and temperatures around 45 degrees about the time I am suppose to head on down the road.
It was in the upper 80's over the weekend here, but today it appears fall has finally arrived ... just in time for my annual ride up the Blue Ridge Parkway. Guess I'll finally get to test out the heated seat and grips I got when I bought the bike in June
Well...I've proven to be an all weather rider this year. There isn't a leaf that is stillon a tree in my neighbourhood as we've had frost a few times already. This past week, when I've left for work in the morning (6:00 AM) the temperature has been no warmer than2 celsius (35.6 fahrenheit). Top that with a little rain and misty/foggyweather and its been darn right poor riding weather! I live out of town so I drive about 30 minutes on the highway at 70 mph before I even get into the city. None-the-less, I grin and bare it as I get on the Sporty and go. Next week I am working the afternoon shift which means I will be getting home around 1-4:00 AM.(depending on which bar I stop at for antifreeze). The scary thing about that is that you just never really know when the frost will hit. I could be sitting at work and bingo...Frost! LoL...I wonder if Harley makes snow chains for the Sportster? Hmmmm......Studded tires?
Truth be told...I've been wearing my electric jack and gloves under the leather jacket and a pair of long underwear under the jeans and chaps. Call me a sissy...But I'd rather be comfortable on the bike and riding opposed to comfortable on the couch and thinking about riding!
