yeah its getting cold here too. my 07 skips now and then till it warms up. its like the ignition shuts off for a second, i can ussually ride no problem at 50. once its 45 or so i cant breath when i go over 25mph. im hoping to ride the bike to work right into december, ill go out if its sprinkling or a light rain but when its pouring out i take the truck.....anyone get a gurgling sound and what sounds like air being released when you turn off the fuel injected sporster? mine is doing it andi wasnt sure if its only me. brian
Yeah it's time to break out the leather jacket. I had a very light jacket before sun up this morning about 58 degrees and felt uncomfortible. I'm wearing my leather in the morning.
It was like 27 degrees when I left for work this morning, high for the day was about 43. [:'(] So why don't you EFI guys warm up your bikes? Too proud? In to much of a hurry? Whatever your excuse is you should let your air cooled engines warm up a bit espeically when the temps get low, if only to let dissimular metals reach an even temp in your engine. You say it takes 5 minutes to put on your cold weather gear, start the bike up first. By the time your dressed the bike's ready to go.
