New Front Tire
I got a new front tire put on today (19") and my bike feels really strange, very loose. With the old tire it would give feed back through the bars and sort of bounce, now its so smooth, its scary. The bike turns way faster than before. The only answer I can come up with is that my old tire wasn't balanced very well. In fact, it had no weights on it at all, but the new tire required a wheel weight. Any thoughts?

It's not really unusual, even on a cage a new set of tires are smoother and more responsive. Youjust don't realize the loss of performance in an older tire because it happens very gradually.

I think cHarley is right. You don't realize the change in the tire over several thousand miles. When I replaced my front tire not long ago, I was slowing it down in the curves more than usual. 'Just wasn't used to it. However, I DID realize the change missing out of my pocket replacing the tire
