Thanks for all the info guys. Though I'm so anxious to make my purchase, I'm going to shop arround some. Hopefully if shipping a bike isn't that expensive I may just get one off of ebay or cycle trader as long as I can make sure the seller is trustworthy. The feedback rating on Ebay seems like a really good judge of that.

Private parties also have an inflated value of their bike. Realism sets in after a month or two on Craigslist or Ebay. As was stated, if the bike feels small, you may be looking again in a few months. Ride 'em all until you find just the right one, them shop around for that exact model. No hurry, there are many for sale in the winter. If its the right bike, you will have it for years. Extras are important too. They usually don't add much to the price of the bike, but if you have to buy them later you will find them quite expensive.

Sounds a little high with the mileage you listed. But since it is from a dealer, if they won't budge on price anymore try to get them to throw in some freebies. Extended warranty, free 15,000 mile service, in store coupon so you can put some of the bling on it you want etc...
