We've got a lot of scenery like that here in Indiana. Except here they don'thave "dangerous curves" signs;you just findit outfor yourself when you almost run off the road LOL.
I'd have to say my favorite parts to ride actually aren't in those forest places in generalbecause of all the critters that can cause problems. They are the best spots to see, though, because they're pretty. (Can I use "pretty" on the HD forums? )
My favorite spot is a little spot 20 miles west of where I live that is a big, 2-lane, 55mph rode withno bushes/trees around it (just fields),no cars / witnesses LOL, and tons of long, sweeping curves that can be taken around 80mph.
The Sportster gets a little steering wobble when you hit bumps in a turn at 80, though, I've noticed. I was thinking of a steering damper but I prefer to just live with the wobble.
[/quote] Always thinking of the titty bars huh? We have one around here called Sticky Fingers butI don't think you'll ever see a road sign with that on it.

Oh hell.

Lewd, great pics, reminds me of home, I grew up in Poughkeepsie. Technically speaking that is actuallyDOWN state New York, but anyone who lives in Manhattan or Lowng GIsland thinks anything North of the Throgs Neck bridge is UP state.
Nice scoot man, I sure miss the roads in Connecticut, I know they're similar to where you are. Oh well I can't complain too much-- Now I'm living in Vegas.
Thanx guys! I do love this bike, and where I live, but alas winter is coming [:@]I will have to look at my little devil as it sits in my garage... I will probably sit on it and start it up with a box fan in front of me dreaming of spring...LOL
Hey Nightsterhooligan, I used to work in poughkeepsie for IBM. I also like the music store in wappingers, Alto Music! I am about 45 min north of poughtown!
